From an apparently relatively informed position. I understand the inherent pessimism and how a dream can lead to hurt type of view you have from past experiences but I think it's clear this is different.

The appointment of the manager is a clear sign of the intent. We could've and usually would've went for the cheap, no/limited compensation option, of which there were many available, but we never we spend a large amount of hard cash getting the preferred candidate, a candidate who left a comfortable and reputation building role to come to us.

It all points towards an ambitious plan with clear intent on our significant advancement on and off the pitch. It's promising to be a good time. I understand your cynicism though. I hope and I believe your cynicism is misplaced mate.

Fair points and I get them all but honestly mate maybe it's me not explaining myself right. It's not cynicism, it's pragmatism.

It's not about being hurt in the past it's weighing up what I know and the facts of the situation and saying simply lets see the sustained success before we herald this the game changing success some claiming it is.

If it is then you won't find a happier blue than me on here.
