Massively wrong. He brought in Ancelotti and James?!?! Who cares? They did nothing for us. I just want to win. If it’s with complete no names I could not care less. In fact I’d actually prefer it because people get weird about “names” as you are here. If someone isn’t staying for at least five years we don’t want them. That some show pony who only wins with billion pound teams was here for a cup of coffee is meaningless to me.

Can’t wait until this criminal is officially gone from our club.

If that's your opinion then it is what is, from my POV two of the happiest days as an Evertonian in the last 20 years were when we got Ancelotti and James. That gave us hope. The third will be when we move into that stadium.

We gave it a crack to get somewhere and the PL rules and Moshiri losing his financial backing stopped us in our tracks. Even with the extra finance of that stadium and Friedkin, we'll find it very hard to break into the top four, especially without 'names', world class manager + players. We'll be better run and more stable (which is great) but I don't think we'll get that feeling we had when Carlo was here. Not for many, many years at least.

That season up until Christmas was brilliant, just a shame it was in the era of covid.

We had actual good full seasons under Kenwright, does that make him a good owner? I struggle to see how us being good for half a season under Moshiri ages ago is anything to shout about.

We had nothing good under Kenwright. Illusions / Delusions built on criminal and fraudulent foundations. Flashes of nearly moments built on sand. Absolute charlatan.

Someone has just suggested being good for half a season under Ancelotti counts as good times that we’ve had under Moshiri. So if we’re applying such logic, then let’s apply it evenly.

It’s all relative really. Kenwright delivered the square root of F all, just a handful of nearly moments.

Moshiri delivered Carlo, James etc as a fleeting moment for all of us to dream. Physically, he has enabled BMD. Comparing them, Moshiri ranks more positively in the Everton story.

Farhad Moshiri chose to agree an Everton takeover agreement with Dan Friedkin “at great cost to him personally”, according to Alan Myers.

The Sky Sports journalist reported via the outlet’s website on 23 September that the Toffees’ majority shareholder could end up losing £750million on the deal in what will be a “huge loss” on his investment in the club.

We were never that good under Kenwright. We didn't have a world class manager and we didn't have a player like Rodriguez. This will sound funny, but it's more the hope of achieving something, than the outcome. Obviously levels to this, no good getting so far and getting relegated, if you are expecting 7th and get 11th off the back of trying to something different then I don't see the big deal. We had genuine hope we could finish in the CL deep into the season before injuries and the usual lack of bottle kicked in.

Imho that isn't going to probably happen with the Friedkins, just because of the financial muscle of the others. He won't go balls in for that kind of manager and players, this can be classed as a good thing if you want as we aren't betting the house. That said although finishing say 9th/8th/8th maybe a 7th somewhere, sounds great at the moment, by the time we are into our 5th season of that it won't feel like it then.

As I have always said that side was a good basis to go on and improve and we weren't allowed the opportunity to do so. We missed out on Europe, which meant we had to sell. Moshiri then made his worst mistake in getting in Benitez which hastened the downfall. It wasn't the owner saying no more money though, it was the PL rules. We became the first victims of the cartel to stop another club interfering with their slice of the pie.

Why are you trying to polish 2 turds.
Kenwright needs a thorough flushing and bleach everywhere. Moshiri, relatively only, has enabled a physical new stadium.

We have to guard against Kenwright apologists who will look to invent history with a new owner and seek to have him immortalised in any fashion as an enabler of BMD.

Kenwright needs excorcising from the club.
