Knew it was just a matter of time just like the Jol this year. Expect Shrearer to come in and do a turn around. Fat chance. Oops sorry Sam not trying to be disrepectful.

Onion head next?:P

Priceless. Give a man a 4 year plan and blow him out after 6 months. Should have stayed within your limits Sam. Bolton. Never mind, there is always sunderland in a few months.

fantastic news.

the best manager they have since bobby robson, who took a mediocre supported team like bolton into europe and a regular top six finish most seasons - whilst spending very little - given stewardship of a well supported club, money to spend - if they'd have left him in position for a few seasons he'd be pushing for the champions league easy.

not the clowns at Newcastle.

Cue much hilarity as the shearer dream crashes on the rocks of impending relegation.

I [Poor language removed] love it.

Sam you deserved better than those muppets up there.

Unbelievable really.

Maybe, just maybe it's not the manager, but the collection of players that they not only have now, but have had over the years.

I really think that had they given Sam time, he could have turned things around there. Not now.

Just who would want that job.
OK Sam was a fool for thinking he sort it out, even Alex Ferguson told him not to go. He was being touted for the England job not too long ago for crying out loud and I'm sure he would have had us playing better than McLaren did, He's a decent manager who inherited a crap squad that suffered loads of injuries. Of his "big name" players, Owen has only started 7 league games this season, Barton 8, Duff 3, Viduka 11.
I don't think there is one player in their squad I would want in our team.
Shearer would be a fool to take the job. Hope he does:D
