I don't see what they expect to gain from this. I mean, there has been NO stability at that club for as long as I can remember now. Sometimes, when things aren't going your way, you just have to persevere, like we did with Moyes, he could have been sacked a couple seasons back, but he wasn't, and even though I was of the opinion that he could have been shown the door, we're better off for it. Who would we have replaced him with? As for them getting Shearer, it will appease the fans, but what the [Poor language removed] does Shearer know about coaching? Will everything he touches turn to gold? Not [Poor language removed] likely.
