THIS.

Anyone comparing a Moyes team to an Alladyce team needs to go to Specsavers.

So Everton don't lug it at Cahills head all game via the right boot of Jagielka? Could have sworn we do.

Everton aren't exactly three-dimensional in how we play. It's either down the left via Pienaar/Baines, which is actually nice football, if predictable. Or we run the ball with Coleman down the other flank and hope he beats his man.

Or we tw&t it long to Cahill.

I honestly don't see much distinction between the brand of football we play under Moyes and what Allardyce does. In fact, I'd suggest the "stupid comments" are coming from those who are suggesting Allardyce only plays "Route One", which is a gross oversimplification stemming from his days in charge of Bolton and utilising Kevin Davies.

We play much better soccer than any Allardyce team mate. You know this deep down but are using over exaggerations to release your pent up frustration from Everton being a steaming pile of [Poor language removed] at the moment.

Apart from not scoring and generally being a bit gay around the box, we've been playing some nice stuff. This is in addition to some wonderful football played last season.

By all means, moan about being [Poor language removed] but comparing the standard of football between Moyes and Allardyce is vast.

Then you need to get to Specsavers lad.

Of course. Seamus Coleman or Baines never run with the ball.

Course wide men shouldn't do that.

Course not.

Way to not read properly. Try again...

Read what I just said - I know they do, but it's not like Everton are total football a la Holland by any stretch of the imagination, and all too often we resort to Route One from Jagielka's foot to Cahill's head.

I think we play a bit more down the wide areas, but I don't think we play much better. The only reason we play slightly (and I mean slightly) better overall football than Blackburn under Allardyce is because we possess better footballers, not because of some innate managerial genius from Moyes. If Allardyce was managing Everton the end result would not be much different than what we're seeing with Moyes, as both managers rely on largely negative football aimed at grinding out results.

You've got to admit though, the way we pass the ball around aimlessly thirty yards from goal is a sight to behold.

At least give us that.

Then we chip it thirty yards towards Cahill. Which I term the "mini long ball" ^^ Or we play it back to Jags to pump it sixty yards!

Build up play to both aimless long pass options is delicious though, I'll give you that for sure.

the new rovers owners wife has perhaps made her feelings known as she did state on their first day in charge Sams job is safe providind we play acceptable football for the fans
