The outrage of Benitez appointment is mainly perpetrated by fans who fall into the stereotypcal "bitter blue" category that the kopites accuse us of. Personally, the quicker the bitter blues are rid of, the better.

….you’ll notice from the poll that significantly more posters don’t want this appointment to happen. This is a good cross-section of the fan base. They care about Everton, they are passionate about Everton.

I’m one of those, you should read our reasoned views, to call us ‘bitter’ is frankly ignorant.

Not exactly. This is a forum for everybody to express an opinion. If it differs from yours, then that is the perogative of the poster.
I think the majority of anti-Benitez posters have been at pains to point out that it is the obvious lack of success he has had at any club for way too long. His success prior to that was done either at enormous cost, ie pre FFP, or with a team he inherited. He has never built a team, and certainly nothing like the basket case at Everton.
It does not make them 'bitter' to be wary of the calibre of appointment, nor does it need the attack they should be got rid of.
Opinions! Right.

My post was directed to those blues who are "outraged". Not the reasonable blue who can offer their opinion without cursing you out.

I thought that was obvious.

I’ve had a season ticket since 1983. I’ll be going this season home and away. I rarely miss a game. Can’t understand why anyone would not go and watch Everton. We will be here longer than Rafael, really don’t see the issue or the fume or the childish behaviour
I'll be supporting and cheering for Everton like i always do. But as i said earlier love Everton and hate Benitez is my philosophy. Now if he wins us a trophy , that might help win me over. But really this guy is a has been dinosaur and a kopite. I support Everton though not Rafael Benitez, and a lot us will be happy when his reign as Everton manager is over. Whether that's happiness at winning a trophy or two, or happiness that this dirty kopite rat is no longer our manager, well only time can answer that particular question.

No such thing as a bitter blue, we prove them wrong and they call us bitter

Obviously not. I was probably shocked by the notion that anybody with differing views to yourself should be got rid of.
Now to me, that was the 'obvious' part.

No, it was directed to the outrage mob who are turning their backs on the blues just because of a managerial appointment. Hung up on their bitterness and hatred of a man who, objectively speaking; is just another manager.

I've voted no.
As in I'd rather not he be appointed, if/when he's announced, my life won't change.
Once this dam club has got you ,it's got you.
Obviously ,like others ,certain changes at the club would make you question your loyalty, but until that day.

Question; How do you enrage a Blue?
Answer; Tell them a lie!

Question; How do you enrage a rs?
Answer; Tell them the truth!

Until the dominance of Munure and the coming of Cheatski and the Oilers we had banter. Why; because they were winning everything. Once their dominance was removed, the banter then suddenly became Blues being bitter. Hello Mr, Pot springs to mind because they are the most bitter of all.
This is not a biased opinion, it is one I continually hear during my travels throughout UK and Europe.

I sort of think, what difference does it make? If we are in the bottom 6 in November he will be on his way and if he does well, in the summer he will be on his way to replace Carlo at Madrid. He is a short term appointment again.

I'm of a mind now that I want the manager settled and some players brought in.
