This. I used to travel down to The Edge in Coventry once a month, and that place was at the forefront of jungle techno (then more straightforward hard jungle) in late 92 and through 93. Grooverider, Fabio, JJF, Fallout, Top Buzz were the best in my mind.

I remember we played Coventry away in November 93 and we went to the Amnesia party at The Edge that night. Brilliant weekend, malt bough I think we lost.

Easygroove was the best from back in them days. Shame he ended up a crackhead for so many years.

There's a Fantazia "revival" do in Bristol this weekend. The lineup is absolutely immense.

was Easygroove a West Country lad? I thought it was Plymouth but might be mistaken. Him and Ellis Dee played brilliant sets at Fantazia Bournemouth (in the stock car stadium) - 92 or 93?

Loving that Brucey...didn't pick you for a dnb head

Used to love a good rave in my younger days. Haven't been to one since The End shut down though. Was speaking to a guy recently who still goes though, and guys like Kenny Ken and Ed Rush are still playing. Must be 50+ these days lol

Think the best club I went to were the old Paradox nights in Southampton. Remember one night they had EdRush/Optical, Hype and Andy C/Shimon on the bill. Was a cracking night, with the kind of base that'd make your clothes vibrate in the queue to get in.

Lived in Portsmouth back then and the drive back when everyone was simultaneously buzzing and deaf. Scenes.

Kenny Ken - another quality blast from the past! Anyone remember Doc Scott?
