and the two mel brooks pics are awesome in their respective ways... "what in the wide wide world of sports" indeed

i do like a film that raises a chuckle or two.

the first time i saw blazing saddles it was on a matinee double bill with monty python's holy grail. we were laughing so much we were missing some of the gags & so stayed in for the next showing & watched them both again. first time saw young frankenstein i managed to lose my wallet, presumably through excessive chortling.

Remember the Titans is a great film, i feel like i can run through brick walls when i watch that.
