Feelings about the upcoming season.

Can't stand modern football. Hated it for many seasons. If Spurs come 6th or better it will be a decent return. But with the winners/top 2-3 already a foregone conclusion I have zero excitement for next season.
I will still go for the day out with family and mates but don't really care about the matches.
Stay up and have a decent cup run. That's about the extent of it.

In my eyes the game of football I grew up with finally died on April 18th this year and although Sky and other media outlets have papered over the cracks of greed and self interest since - in my mind its never ever coming back.

If I do a for and against column, the only thing in the for column is the social aspect. The against column is a foot long.

Not optimistic, not pessimistic and fir the first time ever, not interested. Just numb. Meh.

Might change my mind if we're top at Christmas though.

Sums up my feelings too. I'll watch today's game, but only because the misses is going to bring the lads to a friends house for a few hours.. if they weren't going I'd be doing something outdoors with them.

It's interesting that so many people around the internet seem to be saying Chelsea are going to win it and yet the books still favor City pretty massively.
