Ferguson Caretaker Manager

Might be the case mate Rafael was always going to be controversial an the players would of known an felt it

The whole lot needed to go this summer and we needed a manager in charge who'd employ no more suspect characters - and if one inadvertently did slip through again they'd stand for no more nonsense. (Moyes did that well: AVM, Beattie, Drenthe....their feet didn't touch after they were seen to be wronguns.)

We needed that fire break desperately, but now the wild fires will continue to burn.

The club will go back to being a disaster zone....after the first few games of a new manager.

Problem with Benetez though mate, he was a wrongun himself in that regard.

Only one who can do a top to bottom clearout is Moshiri or him hiring a DoF who has the power to do so.

Neither is likely

Run themselves in to the ground.. same tactic as last time.

Might work for the first game or a couple after the international break but after that they'll claim they are spent and that leads on to games like we had against Arsenal at the end of his last stint as caretaker.

Hopefully he can mix that up with good tactics and/or if we can for once have a game where we are 3 up then the players can ease off towards the end and save some juice.

As much as I agree with what you’re saying Dave I think if we were to go and get Dan Ashworth I think that would turn out to be a real coup. However he would have to be in control not the dicks above him.

The deadwood that will be out this club in the summer will allow us to hopefully start to rebuild with players with the right attitude and buy into the ethos of the club.

Someone said last night if we bought him in along with say a Rooney or lampard then it could actually reap a lot more than the last 6 years what’s your thoughts on that?

I can’t see him being in charge after the Int break. Thank god we got that break, Just incase things go wrong

I've got to be honest, the running into the ground thing didn't do it for me.

I don't want players dying on the pitch, that's not sustainable.

Aye, but the RS seem capable of doing it week after week and let's be honest our shower, if they were new motors, have hardly left the forecourt all season. I don't even think some have delivery mileage on them.
