Maybe I'm reading into things too much but it seems no love lost between him and Benitez

Straight answers, no waffling, no crap. I like him.

It just seems like a whole weight has been lifted off the club. More player interviews, people saying they are pumped to have Duncan in charge. And yeah he kept it very short in relation to Benitez.

I like the sentiment behind it, but not convinced Ferguson or Rooney are the right choices long term.

Probably just confusion.

Seems like training under Benitez was him having a word in their ear about every mind-numbing detail imaginable, eg how many degrees their foot should be rotated when waiting for a cross. Have a look at the goals we've conceded, everyone is at 6s and 7s, no idea who is doing what and where.

There were plenty of writers slating Potter over the last couple of years but the fans stayed positive and loyal because they know what hard times are, unlike Everton, and they know the importance of stability.
