The way i see it, if Dunc is in charge for the next few weeks, and the team is doing well. Then why tamper with something that ain't broken? The opportunity is there for Dunc, to get the team performing so well, that the board have no choice, but to make him permanent manager imo.
And if he doesn’t get it then do not keep him on at the club.
If he wants to manager us, which he’s said he does in the past, he has to go and manage elsewhere to get experience.

If he has two stints as Caretaker Manager and he still can’t get the job from within, he never will.
This is what disappointed me so much about Unsworth, he wanted to manage us but ended up going back into U23 setup.
He obviously wasn’t serious enough about it to go and become a manager.
