He was given a job at the Club because he was skint and on his lasties. He wasnt employed by the Club originally because of his skills as a coach.

If he wasnt Duncan Ferguson he’d have been binned with the previous Managers along with the other staff.

It absolutely REEKS.

that’s why he’s here. as who he is

Agree. He was bankrupt but Blue Bill comes to the rescue. Not because he was good for Everton but because they were mates. I wonder if he has given up the pigeons. Because they were more important to him than when he was playing. Fraud

Face facts the same old crew are hanging around - Benitez doesn’t mind because at the end of the day he doesn’t give a toss - he’s not here to oversee some overhaul of the squad/back room staff, he’s just here to fund his retirement.

Moshiri has had his pants pulled down once again and the joke is well and truly on us the fans.

Meant to say why ?

We dont need benitez coming in and ferguson going out the same day. A kopite in and an Evertonian straight out the door. Urgh.
If he see's him not fit to take first team coaching then so be it within time.
Cheap shots from some with little knowledge of what he does or what he's been told under previous managers.

He looked embarrassed on the photo shoot, maybe because he has no clear role, he knows it and so does everyone else. The EFC site say he "is on the coaching staff".

Which no one on here has the first clue whether he is or not.

Though of course relatively few will admit that.
Of course we do - he's the first team coach and we're mediocre. Anyone who willingly accepts mediocrity for years and years, under different regimes and managers, and never move or changes to get out of that situation, is themselves mediocre. It's practically the definition.

Nothing wrong with just collecting a paycheck in a bullshit job - but first team coach at Everton shouldn't be a bullshit job. If you want to argue that results don't matter for a first team coach, or there's some exceptional reason to excuse serial, long-term under-achievement then please share - it'll be bollox but it might be interesting. But stop with the 'none of us know if he's any good' nonsense because all of us know that he isn't.

So our bad results are down to a single (frequently junior) member of the coaching team.

Interesting.
