Honestly, if i was moyes right now, id go on everton tv, infornt of all the fans, and say...

..."[Poor language removed] off fernandes!!", then sign some brazilian player

fernandes didnt turn it on in every game - he was responsible for the chelsea stamford bridge league goal.

hes good, he isnt the best, but hes good.

id like us to sign him, but i'll put my boot on and play blinders before i castigate the club and how its run over the potential signing of one player.

where did rationality go?

Suits, I really can't see how you can expect Fernandes to sign now. There is no smoke without fire, and at the moment its raging.

He is going to Valencia, I would even put my life savings on it. But, now I don't think it is conspiracy, I don't think its Moyes dithering as many will think, and I don't think its poor negotiations by BK, its plain and simple, the player is greedy and has been offered much more money.

Same reason why Heinze [Poor language removed] off to Spain, he wanted more money than anyone at the club.

But it does seem that Fernandes lied to the manager, the chairman, the fans if you like and probably the rest of the squad. Its low, and to be honest its just typical of the Portugese player. I thought it was just Ronaldo who was a [Poor language removed], but it seems its not an isolated incident.

*Disclaimer, this is not referring to the Portugese general public, as I know many of them and have worked with many of them. It is referring to the underhand tactics to get what they want that I have seen in a handful of portugese players in this country*

Thoroughly pissed off.

He's better than Osman, he's as skillful as Arteta and he has a better shot than Cahill or Carsley. He is 22, and seen as the brightest hope since Ronaldo. To me that is a big loss, and yes I am going to lament it. As I want to be entertained and at the moment I am not.

good grief, remember tact?

"Its low, and to be honest its just typical Portugese"

as everton fans we have been through some very hard times, and after those - some very very hard times. I am not prepared to got nuts just now, things arent perfect, but what is perfect? we are improving and thats it. expectation and the tempering there of is the name of the game.

get cahill in midfield with jags and watch wenger cry.

and when it comes to tracking his man or fighting for the team he was nowhere.

a player there for the good times and dissappearing for the bad times isnt an everton player.

guts, guile, determination and grace preferably.

fernandes is an unpolished gem, moyes COULD bring a great player out of him, or he could REMAIN the 'good time charlie' he is.

third time... "not the messiah"

No one is saying he is the messaiah, but he's still better than Osman. Osman has peaked and is just a player, nothing more nothing less. Fernandes is a revelation for his country and is a quality player.

Ronaldo doesn't track back but some would say he was the reason why they won the Premiership.

I think this just sounds like sour grapes for a player we are now not going to sign, yet when we were signing him it was all good times.

The boy has obvious ability, and I would have that over what Osman produces any day of the week. We have enough players to defend, and sometimes I think we as a team are too defensive, so it wouldn't harm to have an attack minded player in the side.

You say you know about football, when then you must know that guts and guile are not the only requirement for quality premiership stars. Its not the old days.

if thats aimed at me then you can kiss my arse.

i have been talking up MGP before anyone. all the skill, all the flair, all the style got luque and viana no where.

balance, is the requirement, mgp is one of the most balanced left sided midfield players it has been my pleasure to see doing his job.

Ok whatever - I've put you on my ignore list because you just annoy me. And out of all the people on this forum you annoy me, with your constant disagreement with everything I say, your one man mission to put Anichebe up there as an Everton great when he clearly lacks the skills, and your constant constant "tact" issue.

So if I don't hear you I can't get annoyed by you.

Best for everyone.
