They didn't say much about gameplay changes at E3 though mate. Only about better ball physics and your player can turn tighter and other stuff. Other than that it was all the cosmetic stuff.
 
They need to bring back club investments to spend club income.
  • Stadium upgrades.
  • Trainers per position to increase player growth.
  • Income from home ticket sales.
  • Negotiating sponsors.
 

They need to change that absolute train wreck of a scouting system in career mode, never play it because of it. Takes a whole window to scout two players, you can't judge a player and hope he'll go on to grow to be decent if you are tight on money.

This would make it much better. Spend more on the management side. I normally get bored outside of transfer windows because it's just game after game, some are fun, some are boring, I sim a bunch, but I'd like the option to break up mid season stuff with more proactive things than just scouting.

Would also help me prevent myself from buying new players every window just because I have money.
 

They talk about listening to the players, how they want to make defence more fun, then show actual gameplay modifications that will hopefully make it more fun.

Unfortunately that was for Madden.

That is part of it. Last week I was running my Everton career and I had $50m banked after buying several new players in January. My youth and transfer market scouts were maxed 5 star and that money just sat there. The next season started, my $50m was gone, and the board gave me $17m to spend on new players, despite my having won the league and qualified for champions league.

Que the BK jokes, but it is silly, really.
 
I want to be able to negotiate pre-season friendlies and maybe more legends like Cruyff, Eusebio and Maradona on UT.

I always end up with a stupid amount of players out on loan. Because I want to do something other than just grind through the seasons, but players moan about playing time (even if they start every other match) and there are only so many competitions. I would rather not have the massive squad and work on rebuilding the stadium or something.
