But we are getting someone on loan so it will be exactly that I'm afraidNeed to avoid this attitude of getting back ups for players that aren’t even good enough in the first place. Our search for a CB should be for someone that is better than we have right now, as Gabriel was planned to be.

Maybe the FIFA hipsters will pipe down a bit about getting this kid in now.
Nothing to be impressed about on show there

Why are people looking at loan deals from chelsea.
Just about to post that mate.
Why are we even talking about loans for untried players.
The days of your kurt zoumas should be banished.
Zouma at least has some sustained first team experience, and is arguably better, or just as crap, as Mina.
But we should really be looking for better than what we have. There’s no point bringing in players that are even crapper than Mina!
Ancelotti, the managerSaid who?
They wanted £40 million+ for Allan and sold for £22 million.
Throw £50 million at them and see if they bite on our cherry.
I know this is the Tomori thread here but that surprised me yesterday that Ancelotti had Allan pushing upfield more. I would have had him just in front of the defense most of the match and let Doucoure push up more.
Would you really be happy to see us sign 29 year old Koulibaly for £50mil and make him our highest earner?
Rather go for Badiashile or try for Upamecano
Think the idea was that Doucoure had to cover for Diangana and Coleman pushing upfield.
Because of that if Allan had also dropped back we would have had a very deep midfield when we wanted to play on the front foot.
Could be wrong...
