Great call, brilliant film on every level. It was out at a similar time as Shawshank Redemption iirc, which took all the plaudits, which was fair enough, another classic.

My utter disdain for quite a few actors & actresses has meant there's probably very good movies I've missed out on ie an outright refusal to watch anything with Russell Crowe in it.

I just don't get it. If he is in it, I ain't watching it.
I did succumb to wolf of wall st about 6 months back. Wasnt a fan. Didn't change my mind.
Probs stemmed from Shutter Island which I detested with a passion.

Poor by both star and directors standards. Do enjoy 'Wolf of Wall st' - 'gooble gobble one of us' it's like Michael Corleone got his traders licence and had Gordon Gekko as his spirit guide. Funny!

Just watched Ocean’s 11 for the first time, excellent film.

I love Frank Sinatra as an actor, Von Ryan's express is another classic. Oceans 11 has a lot of ad lib humor on things that were in the news at the time that are a bit lost now.

I've never seen Titanic.
Heat is amazing, the shootout is incredible, I seen it in the Odean on London Road when it came out, brilliant

Lord of the rings is generally not something I'd watch but one of my mates pretty much forced me to watch the first one about 15 years ago and by the end of the weekend I'd watched all 3 and had gone and bought the book lol
