Financial Fair Play investigation

Except you.

The legally binding conditions of our membership of the Premier League mean we cannot sue.

We entered into a legal agreement that means we have to abide by Premier league rules. That means we agreed to an Independent panel followed by an arbitrary panel.

Well not really, as he has reiterated what I pointed out about an hour ago.

People can seek legal avenues outside of panels if they wish. The PL rules are not sovereign to the national law. Or do you think it is?

And politely, the poster in question held the view business cant sue another without gaining consent. That is not true.

Of course we could. If we felt the processes were being held in an unfair way, we could open up a legal challenge.

It probably wouldnt work, but it could be done.
No we couldn't.

We are signed up to a fixed process. We would have to let that process take its course and then try to prove it was unfair.

Good luck with that. Considering we helped make the rules.

That is all very well and good.

None of that allows us to launch a legal action

None of it

It has to go to the independent commission

@gwladysnight and @Mrk will confirm
Listen Matt I'm not getting into the stupid argument you seem to have with @catcherintherye.

As I said there is no punishment metered out as of yet

Not sure why you are jumping to conclusions here.

You need to look at Man City and what they are doing legally wise.

There is no "has to", we are in new grounds.

The rules state that is the process. That will be followed.

However there is nothing to stop club(s) seeking legal avenues alongside this, as many are considering.

2 things can be true simultaneously.

They're going through the independent commission

If they don't they can be expelled from the Premier League

Don't confuse FFP/UEFA with P&S/Premier League

Totally different. Legally.

No they can't.

There is not a court in the land that will entertain a case until you have exhausted the challenges allowed in the rules you signed up to.

Not in the case of the Premier League's rules it can't.

"Many are considering". Who ?

You don't know what you're talking about.

Yes. The actual evidence proves him wholly wrong.

Do you think they gave a hoot about some Premier League rulebook when they broke rules for over a decade? They obviously listened when they were told they cant get lawyers involved etc.

Okay that's strange as I thought clubs voted on how to enforce at the level of the League. It's not like La Liga is it where their version of FFP seems really unpopular

I'm not sure there has been a vote on that level for about a decade. I have no idea where they have plucked the figure from.
