Financial Fair Play investigation

The commission wont report a finding on this for months. Then if it's one where Everton are fined or embargoed for transfer activity Everton would appeal this and around we go for months and months more. (Please dont mention points deductions because that is never on the cards here and anyone suggesting it has rocks in their head)

Meantime - If we stay up - we get our sell-to=buy business done and loand deals done and we take anything they come back with on the chin and crack on.

Our biggest headache is Spurs...then it'll be United, Fulham etc etc.

This isn't even worth mithering with. We have 10 massive real problems ahead of us, and they're our next 10 games. Anything that could come after them is an easily manageable cakewalk in comparison.
Yep there only so many fronts we can fight on….we need to focus purely on safety…everything else is an unnecessary distraction

Apparently we are Going to sacrifice Tom Davies to appease them
May Day soon.

Take a step back and think logically.

Everton and the PL for a number of transfer windows have consulted one another on possible transfer activity.

To do so, each monthly set of accounts will have been scrutinised to provide an up to date picture of Evertons financial position.

If Everton are found to have acted improperly to such an extent of breaching regulations then what on earth does that say of the PL when you consider the partnership style arrangement in place.

The PL will be shot to pieces as an organisation and will be liable for anything that comes their way.

The passing to a commission is probably just the PL way of getting independent approval of said actions so as to exonerate us and them of any wrong doing.

My only worry would be if Everton have essentially produced a set of accounts in poor faith and our new auditors have told them such when auditing the most recent set of accounts.

But if we have then I'd delay all proceedings till we see how they deal with City who have done that very thing for 9 seasons and have faced zilch action as it stands.

They’re one of the cartel clubs so why are they being investigated?
Are they though? They don’t have the global appeal (yet) of Arsenal, Utd, Them or Chelsea, they aren’t generating multi billion £ contracts for match rights.

No doubt they will in due course, but right now and probably for another 3-4 years not too many outside of the UK pay are their ‘fans’.
Then factor in there can only ever really be 4 ‘whales’ due to champs league places, so who will have to lose out down the road?
That’s why they’re getting it.

Regardless of the outcome, we will appeal any potential sanctions which will kick it further down the road, if it is an embargo we will get summer to strengthen before it will be imposed, same for points.
