I’m sure we’ll hire the best in class to help resolve this matter.

Anyone still doubting there is a concerted effort by referees/VAR/Officialdom/Media to relegate us?
We can't have Everton getting a new stadium and getting taken over like man city, the big wigs in the top six couldn't handle that, and we were against the super League so we are in the bad books.all these var decisions going against us can't be a coincidence.

City's case about is fraud ours isn't. We might get a heavy fine or point-deduction while City could end up being relegated and banned in the CL.
A point deduction would basically be certain relegation, oh and then a probable transfer embargo. When you thought things couldn't get any worse heh. I guess the board would have to resign now seeing as how they have well and truly knackered us. Over to you Farhad 👍 We might have to start next season in the championship anyway but with a minus 15/20 point start plus no incoming players and the loss of the few decent ones we do possess 😞

A fine for breaking rules is generally baked into most companies' business plan.

If X club breaks Y rule and benefits to the tune of £Z million, then any fine of less than that makes their rule-breaking to have been worthwhile.
It’s the principle that ridiculous, ‘you’ve spend too much, so to punish you, you can give us a few million quid’

A lot of this is probably going to come down to a technical argument about how much we can write off due to the severance of the USM sponsorship and Covid losses. From memory, we were in a rush to sell Richarlison before the end of June so the money would be in the 21/22 accounts.

Although it’s another example of gross incompetence, I’d suspect if we’ve breached the rules then it’s not by a crazy amount- so hopefully not by enough to warrant a points deduction!

Nothing will happen over this. It's procedure.

Man City's case is set to take over 2 years to get through.

Pretty much spot on. A decent fine likely, worst case our transfer budget for next year will be subject to agreement with the Premier League. Points deductions (the only thing that would really be a massive punishment, limitations on our transfer budget would come in naturally anyway due to our position) won't happen.

I'm going out tonight to some do, I'll be doing the do'ing. I'm sick to the back teeth of being asked to bring things up, should I wear this, what's the weather saying? etc etc now this. I'm gonna bounce in like Stone Cold

The P&S rules concept is pretty galling and inherently stops anyone challenging the elite. Maybe the The Court of Arbitration for Sport will end up involved and say it’s in unsporting to allow some teams to spend gazillions while throttling the spending of others.

God forbid there’s a rule in place to stop clubs losing £100m per season and going out of business.

The one thing they don't do is apply points deductions on the middle of a season. If there's a points deduction it'll be next season if at all.
