Financial Fair Play investigation

What a surprise all this comes up, again, before 2 of the most important games in our recent history. These stories are planted to take a mental affect on players, fans and club. Same as when the international break kicked in and straight away this FFP breach got reported. It’s hilarious. Be great if we are found innocent because the FA messed up our accounts.
Exactly!

And then we sue them for defamation and for drawing our good name into disrepute 🤣

What have we spent on average per season since Moshiri arrived?

A lot of money has been spent and wasted and it's been catastrophic for the club no doubt.

In relative terms, it would still appear to be modest enough though on an averaged basis.

The issue is the failure to improve in football terms and generate associated revenues to balance books and make the club sustainable.

The spending has been grotesque by Everton standards, but I'd be interested to know the precise ins and outs for transfer spending, since 2016 and the outlay.

I know the charge relates to 2021/22 but there has to be context to everything, even before covid and the stadium are mentioned. Nobody can argue that things have not been reined in significantly with more to come.

They said last season “we’re happy with Everton’s mitigation” and now say “oh by the way no we’re not”.

It’s all a bit silly while Newcastle’s owners sanction beheadings and pass the fit and proper test.
I don't see how we can be sued, given we are apparently working with the fa as well?

They claim we are fine, and we have been running things through them for what 2 years? Now all of a sudden we are at fault? The fa themselves would be at fault in this case surely.

Just a last ditch desperate attempts from the clubs around us

Is anyone really giving this utter tosh a moments thought?

There'll be a judgement on the Everton case. It'll be handed down many many months down the line.

This is all bollocks from reporters with zero info and who are making up stuff to fill interest in football now it's all wound down to one about the relegation race: title over, some of the chimps are trying to breathe life into this issue.

The Commission in all likelihood wont give their conclusions until next season is under way.
