Financial Fair Play investigation

A transfer ban and we are buggered due to tiny squad and loan players that we couldn't sign permanently. Points deduction and we'll be relegated. Instant relegation and we are screwed.
Only a fine (and hopefully a small one) would be ok.
If that's what's holding back on proper takeover, then let's get it out of the way super quick.
Still dreaming of a Saudi investor buying out moshiri, clearing our loan debts and finishing the stadium. Who then implement a proper board, a proper recruitment/scouting network, a proper manager and realistic funding on future transfers...wouldn't that be nice for us poor suffering fools.
It may seem like a stupid question, but what exactly would a transfer ban mean?
1. Clearly no incoming transfers.
2. No loan deals either?
3. Would we be able to extend current loan deals when they come to an end?
4. Could we bring in out of contract players?
.

We all know the hearing is on the 25th october, but how long do we actually wait to find out the outcome, does anyone know if it's days, or will it turn into weeks

Don't have to worry about that, Chelsea was able to sign Kovacic when they had a ban because he was already registered to the club. Then again, I can't even think of who we even brought in on loan if anyone.

a fine wouldn't work either

fining a club that is having financial difficulties is not appropriate

Probably worth an appeal that allowed us to get someone in in January.

I would hope for a rather trivial offense which we might not even be guilty off would just mean we have to have our finances scrutinised by the PL for a period whilst we correct our finances. But then again that might be too sensible an outcome for both parties to benefit from.

I don’t think our academy is doing particularly great at the moment.

The better players have been been getting sold off and I believe they have a similar record of results as the senior team.

A transfer ban would condemn us.
That’s it in a nutshell regarding our Academy , maybe Mills once he’s back from loan to add to Dobbin and Onyango as a squad member but hard to see any others helping us next season .

That’s the whole point. We may have attributed costs/taxes to the stadium build so that they would be excluded from the calculation, but FA charge may have arisen because these costs should have been part of our losses, making us breach the limit. In the same way that we lobbed loads of costs into the Covid bucket.
It`s more likely the COVID costs being Everton claimed 3 times as much as most other teams.......
