Financial Fair Play investigation

Certainly possible. I’m sure Sky used to have a little thing going through Sky bet to ramp stuff like manager markets. In this case I’m still not convinced anyone knows anything yet but if a verdict is leaking out the betting markets won’t be the last to know that’s for sure.

still goes on now with horses. You'll see a 20/1 shot chopped into 10s or 8s to create interest/money. And it then goes and runs like a 20/1 shot.

If they do give us a 12 point deduction after the ‘Super League’ breakaways only got a minor slap on the wrist, combined with the inevitability of City not being punished for actual cheating, then the obvious will be made even more so. It’ll just prove that they no longer care to try and be subtle about it.
I think 12 points is the max penalty imposable, if that is the case and we are given 12, we must have done something horrifically bad (with our 1 case) as there is no scope to go for a worse punishment, say if a club had 115 cases.

Exactly, I just don’t see how that works. But of course, City aren’t going to see any punishment at all, or Chelsea if they’re ever looked into either way

Maximum recommended punishment with the club working hard over the last two and a half years to mend its ways? I don't see that at all and don't think any genuine observer would either.

Could that not be the issue though.

The club was supposedly working closely with the Premier League - but over here in a place they were hoping would not be looked at it turns out they were hiding this stuff from the PL.

Bit concerning that the odds on the exchange on our relegation are the same now as what they were before we beat palace 3 nil. In fact the price movement is suggesting that it's felt by professionals that there is a good chance we will get a points deduction.
I looked a few days ago and we were best priced at 7/2 to go down. Best price now is 9/2

Maybe. But with the extent of the losses if they were hiding anything further it also seems incredulous, even for Moshiri.
