Maybe I am too sensitive but I find lazy 'comedy' exactly that, lazy and uninteresting. Is that not allowed?

Certainly not offended by it, just wanted to voice my opinion that all these jokes, whether said in an ironic, banter, etc. kind of way are just plain boring. Same as all of the trans jokes in the post funny stuff that have flooded the thread recently. They are just not funny in any context and repeating them over and over and over again just shows a lack of creativity.

How much for the pair?

Two things.
1. Lets see how handsy-on players get with her like all the grabbing and gesturing with the current crop of feck heads.
2. When an error eventually comes, it'll smoke out a few in football, the media and the knob-'eads in the stands. The reactions will be very telling.

I agree with this.
The fact is though that ALL referees get subjected to these type of 'jokes' and they are often about some 'stand out' in their appearance. i.e. the fact they are bald, fat, Ginger (sorry RAFUH) or lanky etc.
This one will unfortunately be targeted more often than not because she's a female.
Totally wrong, but no more so than any other abuse.

To get to this point in her career, she has probably heard every possible sexists joke, been mansplained by her male colleagues a million times and has run the gauntlet of endless condescension to have developed the thickest skin of any ref in the PL.
Good luck to her, but in the end, she is just another ref who is likely to piss us off at any given moment in any given game.

The difference with using sex/gender, race, religion as the "insult" as opposed to those you mention is the associated history of discrimination and abuse tied to those characteristics.

We (hopefully!) wouldn't accept a black ref receiving abuse that was racial in nature so shouldn't tolerate abuse that's gender based.

She may be complete crap or the best ref every. Neither will have anything to do with her gender.
