They puree the peas, then use a mold to make the pea puree look like peas. Common for patients that may have problems swallowing after some surgery/procedures, stroke, etc.

Turns out this is what it is, she is recovering from aspiration pneumonia so makes sense although she’s been downing digestive biscuits all day so solids can’t be too big an issue unless she is doing it on the sly behind nurses back.

Absolutely stunned if it actually tastes half decent, she’s not touched it and I can’t blame her lol.

Not defending the presentation of that meal in any way but, the critical factors are surely... was it tasty, filling and did she enjoy/finish it ?

She’s decided to eat an entire pack of digestives instead of attempting to eat it…
