Visiting my gran in hospital and she has just been given this for dinner. Now I’m not expecting top quality food or even decent food but what even is this lol.

Plane food is a crime too. I got a pie pizza thing one time (not like a deep dish, it had an actual pastry lid). Gave me the poops mid-flight.

Turns out this is what it is, she is recovering from aspiration pneumonia so makes sense although she’s been downing digestive biscuits all day so solids can’t be too big an issue unless she is doing it on the sly behind nurses back.

Absolutely stunned if it actually tastes half decent, she’s not touched it and I can’t blame her lol.

The day my mom ordered a cheeseburger (knowing it would be pureed), I was intrigued and horrified.

It looked revolting. Grey sludge. No way to "mold" that into anything remotely edible.
Smelled and tasted just like a cheeseburger with all the fixings.
