Not sure if there has been a thread on book recommendations before so forgive me if there is an active thread but can you please add your football book recommendations here for both Everton and non Everton books

The best footy book I`ve read bar non, is the bio of Nicklas Bendtner - Both Sides.
It`s not you`re usual bio, ghost written by someone who can`t really write, as Bedtner writes most of it himself and he`s very obviously a bright fella.
It`s brutally honest about how he wasted his talent and a fascinating read.

I found Simon Kupers stuff good back in the day, going into the history of the game for a first hand perspective Willy Meisl's stuff is interesting
There`s a whole chapter on it mate and it very obviously upset him a great deal.

Very funny book looking at the language, mannerisms and behaviour in modern football media. It's been developed into a very successful podcast too which I highly recommend.

Ive read the secret footballer, (Think its Dave Kitson) who's played in the PL championship and league 1.
He goes on about how toxic professional football is and the bullying in some dressing rooms.
If i remember right i think he says you would be surprised how many clubs in the championship don't want to get promoted to the PL.
