Football Book Recommendations

The best footy book I`ve read bar non, is the bio of Nicklas Bendtner - Both Sides.

It`s not you`re usual bio, ghost written by someone who can`t really write, as Bedtner writes most of it himself and he`s very obviously a bright fella.

It`s brutally honest about how he wasted his talent and a fascinating read.
I bought and read this from your recommendation. Very good, how's his own father rorting money off him the scumbag.

He came across as a very bright and articulate fella, which is why I found it such a good read.

Despite his flaws, I also admired the fact that remained his own man throughout his footballing journey and not just some bland yes man.

Your right about his dad, a complete parasite.

Both of the books by Graham Hunter are pretty decent. Well written and easy to read.

Barca: the Making of the greatest team in the world

Spain: The inside story of La Roja's Historic Treble.

Slightly off topic but a decent sports book list nonetheless...

Couldnt put it down

Martin O'Neill's autobiog On Days Like These. Good accounts of dealing with the brilliant but devious Clough/Taylor combo at Forest.

Dyche couldn't pick it up
