Regards when to sell, be mindful of the Hudson Odoi injury this week. It caused massive sell offs and if anyone was too slow to react, they stood to lose a lot.

Can work the other way, i got Seb Haller at a low price last week as he has been out injured, he should be back for the europa league semi's so i imagine a price hike will pop up soon

Richarlison gone up 27p a share today based on a jarg Man Utd rumour.
Deffo some money to be made around the transfer window

£1,300 up so far in 3 months now.

It's completely replaced normal gambling for me too. Haven't put on an acca for ages now.

Are the shares influenced by the players presence on social media or them appearing in articles from well known publications? Just thinking if some players score but shares go down. Might try this site myself.

Not directly mate, no. A players price is dictated by how many people are buying and selling, for every 900 bought/sold shares the price moves 1p up or down.

However, you can receive 3 different type of dividends and one of them is to do with the media. It's called the Media Buzz and the there are certain media sources (the bigger more reputable ones) which are counted towards a players score for the day. The more articles and positive arcticles count more. So the big boys in the media spotlight such as Pogba and Neymar are the most expensive players on the Index because they return shitloads of dividends.

You can also win In-plays dividends and Performance Buzz dividends.

There are so many ways to make money on it though. Some people focus on media divs and others pure capital appreciation. People have made absolute fortunes out of this. They have had 2 share splits in the last couple of years and Neymar would effectively be priced at £100 a share now. He started out around £3 at the very beginning if I'm not mistaken.

It sounds complicated but it's really not when you get into it. I'd encourage everyone to give it a go, even £50 just to have a dabble. Now is a great time too because there is a 10% deposit bonus before the 1st of May (you've got to opt in). They have increased the advertising budget 3x too for the upcoming season and they've already advertised on sky sports, regular spot on Talksport and at games etc.

I think it's really going to take off over the next year, I really do. I love it as you can probably tell. :D

How much did you invest mate, how many futures you have in each player? Whats your % profit so far pal and how long have you been doing it for?

Hi mate,

See below. Put a fair bit in but all at very small cost-per-share and therefore low risk. Playing the long game for sure.

I'd be interested to hear if Ben has gone a similar route. Very impressive 1.3k up already! I'd suggest he's gone for more high-profile players than me.

@argietoffee do you have any inside knowledge into Cristian Pavon? I know he's been linked to lots of top European clubs but not lately and is reasonably cheap on Football Index.

Has his development faded off a bit or is he still going to move to a big club?

definitely faded.

Should have gone to Europe 1-2 years ago.

Would be a lot cheaper now.

Good player - could be a calculated gamble.

The thing I would like to understand is who is controlling the rise and fall of the stock other than the players form etc? How does the trading website award or deduct that in to value? Or is it just at the mercy of their opinion?

It's based on demand and stockholding. If 1000x people all of a sudden buy 100 shares each in a player then his value will go up. If 1000x people all of a sudden sell 100 shares, their value will go down.

Looking to bump my purchases up, who are good tips atm? U21 players? A couple will be bought off the buzz of playing well in it.

Everyone is at an all time high at the moment. The whole market is booming. So maybe not the best time to buy unless unearthing real hidden gems.

Having said that, I've highlighted some fairly recent purchases of mine who I think are still very reasonable and low risk.
I'm almost £600 in profit now. Highly recommend everyone got on it. Easy, easy money.
