I've had the last four or five editions of FM and, to be honest, I just find it a bit boring going through training, etc. nowadays!!

Gonna abstain from playing it for a while and maybe I'll come back a more dedicated Manager!!

Tbf I really liked the specific training on one of the previous versions (one of the ones with the sliders) cuz you can actually make it so players progress most in things you want them to, not just randomly getting +1 in Corners or something when you're training fitness...

I don't play FMC mode, but generally speaking I don't touch training, aside from when my ast manager suggests ind training for certain players, and I get him to do all press as well, unless I have particular responses I wanna say, eg after bad defeats.

Lads starting a new game, can't recommend Pavel Savitiskiy (sp) enough. On a free, he's a decent left mid who has really high potential.

Got a decent Everton squad.

Got rid of Pienaar, Gibson, Alcaraz, Naismith.

Brought in Alvarez Balanta, Ayew, Givonni DS, Recio and Portillo from Malaga as cover, I play Barkley as a CM with McCarthy.

But I fkd up, River Plate the cheeky nobheads but a loan back clause on Alvarez Balanta so now I'm minus 1 centre back til New Year.

Haven't played him yet. Conor Grant's had a handful of games for me though, and is actually one of my better CMs (in that most of them other than McCarthy are averaging ~6.8 ).

Nah I haven't much, mostly been whilst he's out on loan, anything I say he finds a reason to bitch about it.

Started out cack for me but has recently improved a lot. About 1 in 2 for me now. Kone has got a ridiculous record - 21 in 26 or something! If only life imatated art!
