Wondering how you all play the game. How many leagues for instance? Does anyone mod the game as well? New skins or badges or face packs? Badges are a must for me. Usually grab faces and kits too. Use roughly ten countries with about 45,000 players. Not too massive but easy enough for comp to handle. Nice one on whipping the RS too. Don't care if it's not real.

I got a norwegian 16year old called Ajer and a kid called Vallejo for 1m and 650k respectively

Not really impact players like

I got Ajer, Balanta cost me 3.5m upfront with addons up to 8. Flogged Ossie, Alcaraz. Hachim Mastour was 1m, Humam Tariq 250k, Carlos Zambrano 3.5m. Finding the game a bit frustrating so far.

Key word is potential. In the last game Sterling had immense potential, yet I've never seen him do anything, as it matter how much he plays/gets injured/is coached/etc etc etc.

Plus aren't they all a year younger than Barkley anyway?

If you take a player, play him in all possible games and give him the best possible training, he hits his PA every time.

PA isn't goverened by age. Buffon has a PA of like 190 but his current ability is like 170 as he's old.

To some extent yes, but Barkley has a fixed PA, some younger players had negative PAs which assign a value within a given range.

Only very young and relatively unknown players (think Ledson, Browning etc.) have variable PAs, because it's hard to judge their potential.

Players such as Barkley, Sterling, Shaw and Markovic all have fixed PAs. They are well-known and the devs will have done sufficient research on them as a result to assign a fixed PA. As a result, Barkley has genuinely been given a lower PA than the aforementioned rubbish.

I always download a kit and badges pack and a face pack too. I cannot stand having a generic two-colour shield as a club's badge. Nor do I enjoy seeing a huge silhouette where a player's photo should be.

Sadly no for now - I've started a save with Rochdale, made a 3-5-2 for it, screenshots probably later tonight. Going well so far.

Valejo is a good one at 18, you can get him for 700k or something, but I think someone (you?) mentioned him already. Vlaar seems to go for nothing on deadline day.

If you're a lower prem/championship team with money - Trochowski and Kuzchak are free!

For Everton - Yarmolenko is still one of the best wingers/inside forwards in the game and is dirt cheap at about 6m in the beginning of the game. City usually snap him up quickly though. Andre Ayew is an alternative for the same price/a bit less.

Arbeloa can be bought for ~£1m. Nkolou is a solid CB for between £3m and £5m, and is also relatively young at 24. Price instantly rises to over 10 when you buy him as well. Seydou Doumbia is a great striker for about the same price as well.

Kyle Naughton can go for little to nothing as well, from what I've seen...

And don't forget everyone - you can buy Jo for about £7m! BARGAIN!
