Played the Beta today because I pre ordered it n it's had a major overhaul, makes me feel like i've bought a new game not just an update 9/10
By the by, is this only half a season or can you play for longer and then load it up when the game actually comes out?

Say NO to Ginger Managers
Baines and Mirallas were both utterly amazing in the last one.
Baines consistently got around 10 goals and 15 assists per season until I stopped playing him as he didn't fit my 3 at the back system, while Mirallas scored 20 with 10 assists the first season and close to a goal every 2 games thereafter. Even when they'd effectively been sidelined 5 years on, I could still fit Mirallas in the squad and he'd almost be dead set to either score or assist.
Hopefully they're as good in this one.

Short answer to that one: yes, they are.
At least so far, that is. Mirallas hasn't set the world alight, but gets so many clear cut chances for himself... just fluffs them for me, but that's probably my luck more than anything else.
Baines scored a 30 yard free kick in the first game of the season I think.

Yeah, my asymmetric tactic is amazing for attacking, and pretty meh for defending.
Created 10 clear cut chances and had 30+ shots in one of the previous games and lost 2:3, but got an error straight after it. Even the game couldn't cope with that ffs.

I used to sell Kev for around 24mil after the first season. Chelsea always bought him. Hardly ever played after he left. I hated myself. On my current game Baines is 36 and only just been replaced by my new wunderkind. Has been utterly excellent, even winning World player of the year awards. Best player I've ever had on CM/FM and I've pretty much played all of them.

Yeah I transitioned from 4 at the back to a back 3 with two deep lying mids probably about 3/4 seasons in when Coleman got injured and I had no back up and never looked back. Always felt bad for leaving Bainesy on the bench as he was good enough to be in the team, but just didn't fit the system at all. Eventually transitioned him into the Coaches when he got to around 34, as he wasn't playing, was coming to an end of contract an was a club legend by that time. That being said he got a World Player of the Year award in the second season and was comfortably the best left back in the game.

I was 4-0 up against Palace within 15 minutes on the opening day, then my defence proceeded to bottle it, and I scraped a 5-3 win. Gave them the old Jekyll and Hyde teamtalk, half loved it half hated it.

I was beating Luzern 5-0 at half time in the Europa League group stage, they have 0 shots in the first half, I told them to keep their performance going, and I won 5-2 and I barely attacked and they had 8 attacks.
Stupid.

I assume its just a bug which they'll iron out, at least I hope so. The other thing seems like sloppy/shortbackpasses aplenty, two of which I scored from but they're much more regular than on previous years.
