We are all The Light Brigade :

Not dissing Tennyson but his spelling and grammar are appalling! ?

It's no fun, what? it's comedy gold
it's not good for my mental health,
It's not good for my family having me moping about because of football
It's not cheap even when your half way around the bloody world
It doesn't seem fair to bring my kid up a blue (that was a always a joke but there may be truth in it now)
It makes me angry.

I wish I could walk away, turn it off, not care.

I blame Kenwright for this.

But Everton have given me community, family of sorts, and immense joy (mostly as a kid).
I'd love my club back some day.

I'd love to make one last trip to Goodison with new custodians at the helm.
Just like little kids with 'are we there yet?', 'are we there yet?'

It'll only get to you if you Let it get to you.

This!

I may be pee'd off, feeling disillusioned and fearing the worst for the future of MY Club but the the World will continue spinning, the sun will rise again tomorrow and it will be another day.

What happens with Everton ain't going to make one iota of a difference to my life - it's not like I rely on them to put food on my table or pay my bills to keep a roof over my head.

They are simply an attachment, a part of an extended family and although I adore the Club with my whole being and would be heartbroken to see them relegated or worse my life will still go on for as long as it is fated to do so.

So yes, don't let this crisis get to you and tarnish all the other good things in your lives.

Word. So much word.

The club doesn't reflect the fans or the city anymore and that's true right across the game as a whole at this level. You can probably count on one hand the number of scousers who kicked a ball for both us and the RS combined over the last couple of seasons.

It's a potential franchise opportunity plopped down onto the crumbling relic of Everton gone by produced and marketed solely to satisfy the dick swinging, tax avoiding and sportswashing requirements of insanely wealthy psychopaths the world over.

Why get genuinely upset over that? It's an obscenely tawdry soap opera and every single one of us should try our hardest not to let their greed, corruption, incompetence and self interest define us as people or affect our emotional wellbeing for anything more than 90 minutes.
