I'll be seriously disappointed if we aren't moving to some kind of 433 formation, I think with Rodriguez and Allan we have the players ready for it.

Sell/loan everyone else.

I also think he wants something like this, but it will only really work with a Digne clone on the right, someone who can really get up and down the pitch and who has quality in the final third. Coleman has been great for us but he doesn't fit that profile anymore, and Kenny is still a bit of an unknown quantity.

yes, what’s missing is width and pace.

No place for Gordon.

With you on that. An extra for the right side. Though haven't got a clue who. Perhaps risky, as not seen him in the "hole" before, but I'd keep Bernard. I think he's more on a wavelength with our new crop. Siggy to go.....if possible. Iwobi dispensable too.

althoigh I’m giddy I am concerned that we’ve now got a glut of players “who are better in the middle/ as a 10 than out wide”

Iwobi, Bernard, siggy, throw Davies in there if you want

And JPG may come back (?)

Everyone fit, I think you are going to see a lot of 4-2-2-2

Assuming the back 5 (New RB preferably); with neither Allan or Gomes a pure "holder", you might see a bit of you go I stay and vice versa. Allan looks like he has the discipline to manage this and Gomes undoubtedly smart and will benefit with reliable legs beside him.

In front of that, Dacoure and James can both be fluid & are capable of bringing width and guile where needed, hopefully supplying the obvious two in front with goals.

Pickford
RB Holgate Keane Digne

Gomes Allan

James Doucoure

DCL Richarlison
