EDIT: F1 seems to be entertainment first rather than a sport. They’ve seen the numbers off the back of Drive to Survive and think thats the way to go….

They still technically finished lap 57 as the cars had to come round to the pits and finished the lap. It's stupid but at least for once they are following the rules
