That's the only reason I have kept Foxtel so long really. The sport. What packages will Optus have?Big news Down Under is that Optus will be carrying the Premier League from the start of the 2016 season for 3 seasons.
On an as yet unannounced format.
The death of Foxtel? I know I, and many others only get it for the game.
Will this affect you Kiwis too?

EPL hasn't been on Sky for a couple of years now except for replays of Chelsea, Man Utd, Arsenal and Man City TV during the week.
Everything is online.
Have to admit that I was gob smacked when I heard this. Without EPL and with Netflix etc then Foxtel will be in serious trouble although they may earn more money from providing broadband via cable. The figure of $50m was mentioned in the press which makes no sense to me.Big news Down Under is that Optus will be carrying the Premier League from the start of the 2016 season for 3 seasons.

As yet Optus have not stated how will deliver the TV content.
Are they the ones that own Fetch tv or something?
