Frank Lampard is a useless manager

Losing 2-0 away from home to Real Madrid isn't what id class as pathetic. Id have expected a similar result with Tuchel or Potter in charge.
Oh the more pathetic results will be on their way soon enough, potentially to our detriment.

Needs to be a couple more weeks of how he needs more opportunities like Ferdinand was pushing last night.

Personally I haven't got an issue with Frank. The fact we didn't give him the right tools clears his time here for me.

That said if he can't get results at Chelsea it shows that whatever we may have given him it still wouldn't have been enough. However had we got a striker in January 1st it may have pulled us up from the death spiral, lifted everyone, gave Lampard a bit of zip and one of those defeats turned into a win. If that happens and suddenly a bit of confidence comes back instead what happened in reality where we kept losing and chunks were eroded from the team and himself leaving him not knowing which way is up to get out of it.

How much of that right now is Lampard being found out as a manager or if Everton broke him, like above with the forward he never got, we'll never know. Hopefully he starts winning again for his sake.

Apart from Ancelotti (which I still think may have been some form of hallucination), I've not been filled with confidence from any manager appointment since the day Moyes moonwalked out of here. I don't know what people were expecting TBH...a lot apparently, considering all the vitriol. He just happened to be my choice before it was officially made but I wasn't bouncing off the walls with excitement. If anything, I was looking forward to less BS in post-match interviews as he seemed to be doing ok in that dpt (expect more at Chelsea, because obvious)...everything else was up in the air, just like before him. It's not like a precedent, other than mediocrity and inconsistency, had been set out before him.

You'd think his short time here had single-handedly put us in to disrepute, if you read through this thread as a neutral. Meanwhile, Mr. Porkchops is still around peddling his emotionally charged lines of horse💩...y'know.

Lose to Fulham and people will turn on him, there was a few moans about his line v United, its coming

The same bellends turn on everyone, as they`re just full of their own self loathing.

The vast majority of the forum, can see plain as day, that no matter what happens, non of the vast and many problems at this club, are the fault in way of Dyche.

I mean, I don’t rate him, but Chelsea have nothing left to play for, as they ain’t getting past Madrid. If things go from bad to worse in the next 9 games, his stock as a manager will be irreparably damaged. Let’s just hope they can beat some of the teams around us.

It's fickleness. We need to beat Fulham based on their recent form, history at Goodison and our requirements, but Saturday isn't going to be the make or break.

We're in our situation because of many, many poor decisions and results before Dyche arrived here. Likewise, Chelsea going out the CL isn't on Lampard.

Presuming we stay up, I'd give it until about November at the latest until people start complaining that he hasn't yet got us in the qualifying Champions League spots.
