Frank Lampard is a useless manager

He tried and failed and as far as I am aware (willing to be put right) he only spoke good about the people in and around the club. Hardly a case for banning him from a city.

For me he represents the lowest point of supporting the club.

He was "one of us" despite being a rabid Tory.

He "got us" because he celebrated surviving a relegation battle.

When you look back at his record over 2 seasons its even more astounding that he was worshipped to the extent he was when only Mike Walker has a worse record at the club.

Even Big Dunc could have done a better job imo

He's doing bits right now as a manager isn't he.

Exactly. Tried and failed but connected with the supporters in a way the board never will. That Palace match was not him pretending to be a part of it, he was. He had to go but I respect his intensions

It would be easier to list all the players, managers and board/owners that met or exceeded expectations. Don't see the point in turning on Frank for being amongst the names on the very long opposite list. Unless of course he comes out and says something derogatory about us in the future.

Hasnโ€™t won a game heโ€™s managed for two clubs since November 2019, a run of 11 games

I still like him, nice guy, wrong job
Pretty much this. Did his best but didn't come off here.

Indeed we shouldn't be part of this weird cancel culture that the entitled crybaby type want to impose on those they don't approve of.

Mate, leave this sort of thing to @davek please.

Really was open to giving him a chance, but whatever his qualities and record now, I find it amazing that people like him and Gerrard are given other jobs even after 2-3 failures, when there are better less fashionable managers around. Read that the England U21 manager role might be open to Lampard and Gerrard, and can't believe it really. On the other hand, Lee Carsley seems to be a good coach and maybe in the future he might be for us if he keeps progressing
