Did you not enjoy us beating a full strength premier league team in the cup scoring four goals?
Actual set piece routines, playing progressive attacking football, two very slick goals with great passing and finishing, a manager with passion celebrating goals and talking about progress and more work for him to do going forward… it’s nice to feel positive after the last few months!

Great appointment from the options available. We're in a bad place as a club and giving a young manager an opportunity is the best move we could have made. It will work out.

Fair enough... Everyone wants a bit of positivity. I'm just not going to crown the guy as savior after one game.

It's just that this does not feel like another knee jerk, it feels this time like it's the start of a long term strategy.

It feels different because he is not the finished article and knows it. He has the talent, contacts and desire to grow as a manager and the product of that will be our team.
He has surrounded himself with impressive staff as well. He also has got Deli and I can't wait for him to hit form

He's a very clever bloke, brought in some top coaches like Clement and even a serial winner in Ashley Cole. He seems passionate and committed to the job. After seeing us play yesterday after the dross Benithez served us we deserve to be optimistic.
