Yep, Zidane & Gerrard.
Exactly, some winning players make winning mangers, some nearly players make nearly managers.

By all means, support him. But people acting like it was a great appointment are deluded. He's an absolute bottom of the list choice. Hope it works out though. How dare we support the manager. Outrageous.
You are an enemy of Everton.By all means, support him. But people acting like it was a great appointment are deluded. He's an absolute bottom of the list choice. Hope it works out though.
Did you not enjoy us beating a full strength premier league team in the cup scoring four goals? The Lampard love in here is cringe af

Fair enough... Everyone wants a bit of positivity. I'm just not going to crown the guy as savior after one game.Did you not enjoy us beating a full strength premier league team in the cup scoring four goals?
Actual set piece routines, playing progressive attacking football, two very slick goals with great passing and finishing, a manager with passion celebrating goals and talking about progress and more work for him to do going forward… it’s nice to feel positive after the last few months!
Apart from the normal over the top hyperbole for comedic effect saying we’re gonna win the league and cup double etc., has anyone proclaimed him our saviour seriously?Fair enough... Everyone wants a bit of positivity. I'm just not going to crown the guy as savior after one game.
I can if you want.Apart from the normal over the top hyperbole for comedic effect, has anyone proclaimed him our saviour seriously?
I mean, you can, but it would kind of undermine my point ?I can if you want.

It feels different because he is not the finished article and knows it. He has the talent, contacts and desire to grow as a manager and the product of that will be our team. All 5 you mention above were one trick ponies though. The parting of Moyse coming out of the blue did us more damage than many will probably realise. We had a brief respite under Martinez but the next 5 were knee jerk appointments, maybe apart from Sam who came to do a job...and did it.
Frank may bomb, I know that, he may be here for 10 years and we see silverware.
It's just that this does not feel like another knee jerk, it feels this time like it's the start of a long term strategy.
Not just because of the great display yesterday either, it just feels different how this has been executed.

He has surrounded himself with impressive staff as well. He also has got Deli and I can't wait for him to hit form
