I take back my non backing of Lampard before he was front runner. What do I know. I think
he's a breath of fresh air and it might just be that moment in our history that we re awaken
the sleeping giant. I'm sure of it.
Dismas. It's an interesting point this. From what I can remember from my lapsed Catholicism: despite what people would have you believe, most miracles were basically instantaneous, with the obvious but important exception of the resurrection. But by that point Christ was 33 and still doing it all for Christianity single-handedly, can't blame him if he'd lost a bit of pace.
'Can he still cut it at this level?' asked Barabas.
'He's lost a day or three on his miracles, but his experience and his miracling brain is second to none,' said the penitent thief.
Hoo boy. Slippery slopeJust got a feeling he gets us you know..
Kopite.Enjoy the ball
If I was a player today I would be up at 5am like its Xmas morning full kit on shinnies the lot for breakfast
Chomping at the bit to get in and be around Frank he is that infectious and loves the game compared to the dross they have had to endure who were here only for a payday managing them
He doesn't read what anyone else posts so why do you expect him to read his own posts?lollollollollollollollollollollollollollol
Do you actually read what you post ????
The Lampard love in here is cringe af
Nah, you don't.By all means, support him. But people acting like it was a great appointment are deluded. He's an absolute bottom of the list choice. Hope it works out though.
Villa fans seem happy enough. It doesn't get much worse than a completely unproven manager with only a few years of managerial experience under his belt, now managing one of the biggest clubs in England.
Like this, I was horrified when his name was even touted. However once appointed I was prepared to give him time.I'll be quite frank, I didn't want Benitez from day one, I tried to keep an open mind and give him a chance at first, but, the football was horrific and it took me about 5 games to realise that my first instinct had been correct and that he was a disaster.
Up untill the Watford game I regarded his supporters as misguided blues who had a different viewpoint to me. After the Watford debacle, I began to think that his supporters were defending him because they had painted themselves into a corner and didn't know how to get out of it, or, that they were on a wind up, or, they were just totally clueless about football.
Think you've got a point here lad. That time he had a go at Big Jurgy Klopp and chuntered about only having one Premier league medal was a bit cringe, mean spirited, bad tempered and showed naivety. You wouldn't catch a top tier manager, like Big Jurg, doing something like that when things arent going his way, would you?It doesn't get much worse than a completely unproven manager with only a few years of managerial experience under his belt, now managing one of the biggest clubs in England.
Changed your tune?Galtier and Favre were the top options in my mind.
It was the players to an important extent.
Or do you really think Frank waves a magic wand and everybody knows what they're doing. He's here a week, you can't judge him that fast.
