Along with Digne, I also think James would have thrived with the style and tactics that Fronk wants from the side - another player who tapastits launched due to his stupid ego.

He did nothing but cause chaos and disharmony at the club - he sorted nothing out and should get no credit.

Fronk has to fix all that and the rest.
No he really wouldn't, he didn't want to be at Everton. He loved Carlo and even playing for a Manager he had a great relationship with, his commitment to the cause what at best hot and cold.

I think the Digne decision will all come down to how good the two young fullbacks we replaced him with turn out to (Patterson and Mykolenko) and we won't probably know the answer to that until next year.

I'm not defending Benitez on the whole, but I am not convinced that those decisions will be bad in the final analysis. We needed to find a way to fund a move for a right back and maybe that was the only way?

I don't think he was to be honest

I think he was just past his best as a manager and the chickens came home to roost
This is ultimatly the most likely and sensible scenario, and we shouldn't go down the rabbit hole here. However, there's past your best and what we saw.

With his supposed calibre and the squad available, there's no excuse. I genuinelly think Mark Hughes would have done a better job, and I think he's rubbish.

Confirmation then that dvb is gonna play further up, not as the 6?
In the interview it didn't sound anything like that - just threw some names about how when they go forward, they'd have to assess the situation for themselves(but within the structure of the system). Also said that Donny and Dele can play together(in some flexible system or something) and that he wouldn't have brought them in if he didn't think they couldn't, when asked about it.

Do I? I said Benitez has helped lay stronger foundations for Lampard than Ancelotti left for him which is correct isn't it?

No Brands (who the fans wanted out for wasting millions)

No Donachie (who was part of a horrendous medical department)

Players like Gray and Townsend Signed for peanuts with the right attitudes

Players like Gordon given a breakthrough into the first team.

By your logic if Lampard takes us down come gw 38 Benitez deserves none of the blame and its all on Lampard which is nonsense both would share a portion of the blame over full season.

As much as your agenda may want it you cant lay every negative at the feet of the previous manager whilst hold up any future success as having had absolutely nothing to do with the previous bloke.

Dry yer eyes lad.

( again )

I do believe that the players at the club are much better than their current league placing suggests. However, the table doesn't lie and a couple of positive results are needed to lift the anxiety regarding relegation.

We have heard before about clubs being too good to go down but we do not want to be in that scrap at the end.

There is a good feel about the appointment of FL , not controversial as with RB or euphoric as with CA.
This appointment seems solid, progressive, logical.
After several failed attempts we may finally have got something right.

I look at the squad now and I see competition for most places, players will need to be on their toes to get a game.

It is amazing the difference a couple of weeks make.
A perfect summary fella

All logic says Mosh wasnt involved but he must have!

Onward Evertonians

Yeah, I think those 2 can play in the same team. As I am convinced that dele will play up top. Rally do have the feeling he is a replacement for sombody. One of Dom or Richie will leave this summer, to free up transfer funds.

Alistair Macgown with some horrendous journalism there at the presser.

"Erm... Whats your thoughts on Newcastle Owners human rights history? Have you seen England and Ireland have put in a World Cup hosting bid"

Waste of time.

Absolutely not interested in Everton one bit, only Lampard.

I’d love a question on Gbamin, get his thoughts on him. Or if Rondon was just behind Tosun in the pecking order, or what he’s looking for in Dobbin and Onyango etc.
