2021/22 Frank Lampard

No.

Benitez left behind a team shot of confidence in a the midst of a horrific run of form which was heading straight for the championship.

Yes Gray and Townsend have been good signings and Gordon's breakthrough has been one of the positives of this season but lets not rewrite history. Benitez was a disaster of a manager that will be held upon alongside Mike Walker as one of the worst in our entire history.

Strong foundations, jeez give your head a wobble.

Benitez was far worse than Walker (and will be seen as such in future I hope). At least with Walker everyone realised he was just inept, with Benitez there was always the possibility he was doing it deliberately.

Do I? I said Benitez has helped lay stronger foundations for Lampard than Ancelotti left for him which is correct?
He banished one of the rare creative assets on the team and replaced him with an unknown raw player.
There was a strong possibility Digne would of thrived under Lampard.
Also Benitez just generated turmoil but the rumor had been removed time to stay Frankcentric

Along with Digne, I also think James would have thrived with the style and tactics that Fronk wants from the side - another player who tapastits launched due to his stupid ego.

He did nothing but cause chaos and disharmony at the club - he sorted nothing out and should get no credit.

Fronk has to fix all that and the rest.

Some possible flags for Frank in three months' time.

Speaking for myself, I'd go for Z.

I do believe that the players at the club are much better than their current league placing suggests. However, the table doesn't lie and a couple of positive results are needed to lift the anxiety regarding relegation.

We have heard before about clubs being too good to go down but we do not want to be in that scrap at the end.

There is a good feel about the appointment of FL , not controversial as with RB or euphoric as with CA.
This appointment seems solid, progressive, logical.
After several failed attempts we may finally have got something right.

I look at the squad now and I see competition for most places, players will need to be on their toes to get a game.

It is amazing the difference a couple of weeks make.

Spoke well again. Glad he did address the Dele stuff but wish he slapped them down a bit more.
He did enough. Mentioned the modern game moving on and that clothing choices are pretty irrelevant. A very polite way of stating that their opinions are irrelevant and dated.

Some odd stuff they come out with. The lad's (probably) a multi-millionaire. He's not gonna be driving a 13 year old Punto and head to toe in jarg North Face from Greatie Market.

I have this very good but sometimes spooky unsettling way of sniffing out a fake/false person, I sniff BS from a mile.
Probably why my only facebook friend is me mam and I get 3 Christmas cards a year (One of them from Tescos)lol

Frank is real, It comes across in spades he's got integrity and true class and knows what he's on about, A winner and very likeable with it, nothing is put on or false.

Not many managers about who can speak like that, if any.

As the saying goes, Everton was a 'club too far' for Walker. For a manager of Benitez's supposed calibre, his poor run of form was totally inexcusable.

At the start, I was always more open to Benitez; I was wiling to give him more of a chance than many. But my God, he's far from left solid foundations.

Defence? All over the place. Midfield? Non-existent. Front line? Lacking confidence. We've regressed under Benitez, pure and simple.
