Harsh to criticise the manager today.

Was completely railroaded by the two injuries. We were well in the game (had 62% possession when we scored the goal) until that point.

He has lost his starting CBs and our best attacking player of the season in 5 days as well as losing our only LB on matchday.

My only issue is that when he brought VDB on, I think he should have gone to four at the back and brought off Townsend. We were unable to control the ball in midfield for most of the match, and an extra body in there with Allan sitting would have better protected the back four and allowed us to play through the lines better.

I am confident Frank and his staff have what it takes to turn the ship.
They will. We look much better and fate did us tonight.

Frank looked like he had shat himself after that game
Welcome to Everton

I think he was really REALLY disappointed with what he seen tonight.

Kept his cards close to his chest and tried to be amicable in defeat.

There's about 5 players who shouldn't be in this 1st team but he isn't in a position to get rid, drop them all. He just needs to try and nab some results so we can get rid of the majority of them in the summer.

Evertonians will play their part massively at Goodison.

We cant panic or that will be the end.

We need Goodison to win these matches now. The players need the fans like never before. If the fans rebel against Lampard now it's over.

This is it. We need to stick together now and will the team and club out of this mess.

Nothing else for it, resilience, faith, hope but undying support.

Scream the house down, Goodison needs to be a cauldron.

The early injuries really hampered his options.

I feel like DCL would've been brought on at some point but Gomes needed replacing and VDB was the obvious choice.

He's been our Manager for a week I wasn't expecting us to get significantly better overnight.

I'll be honest I expected us to win 18-0 or 5-1 at worst but I got a little carried away after Saturday lol

Bad night tonight, another big game Saturdsy but I trust Lampard to work this side hard and get a team out on the pitch that will start picking up results.

One good thing about tonight. Frank found out how reliable a number of his players are when they are in a battle. I think he will see that perhaps trying to play with a back 3 and a 2 man midfield won't work for us against teams that, like Newcastle, are as desperate for points as we are. Our lads, for the most part, are just not battlers.

I think we need to go back to a flat back 4 and Get VDB Allan and either Gomes or Oneyango in a midfield 3, I'm not sure how much stomach for a fight Dele has, I think perhaps he should be a bench option for now, bring him on as an impact sub for the last 20 minutes if we need to.

I worry about us on Saturday, because Leeds have just the kind of playing style that we are likely to struggle against. I'm sure Frank is well aware of that by now, let's hope he can come up with a one off system to get us the points against Leeds and lift our spirits.
He will know exactly who he can rely on and who he cant. Unfortunately he wouldn't be able to field 11 if he only picked reliable players.

The most disappointing thing about tonight's preformance was that once again our squad of players showed that they don't give a toss about the fans or who the manager is. The only hope the club have is that the Board who have allowed the club to fall so far is revamped, Moshiri has loads more money to throw at players and Frank can keep us it the Premiership and then get rid of about 15 of our squad and replace them. The club is a complete basket case from top to bottom and requires gutting out at all levels.

It's where we've got our best chance to get results. Drag Leeds into it with a win on Saturday.

I've no doubt Evertonians will 100% do their job...up to the players to respond.

Not sure what tactics he got wrong… as for team selection it was the same as Saturday apart from the enforced changes.
Ultimately the players were all over the place and reverted to type.

Was clear to everyone that Newcastle were going to press us a lot harder than Brentford, Lampard should have knew this, therefore keeping 2 slow midfielders in Allan and Gomes was asking for trouble. Gomes wet himself from the first whistle and Allan had try and cover 2 roles
