i clearly stated I was baffled that it wasn’t a like for like change when we were doing alright. You stated that there wasn’t a change in system.

you, my friend, are only worth what someone is prepared to pay. I don’t have £70m and can only offer co op saver points and a rather large collection of 80’s ring pulls if you fancy being bought?
 

When people were saying this squad was too good to go down in November I questioned that. And I remember someone saying that this squad was too good to get beaten by Norwich. Then Benitez sold our only good player to Villa.

It was always going to be an almost impossible job to keep this squad in the Premier League. Lampard deserves huge credit for taking this job on.
 
Who gave that ball away just after we scored leading to the corner for their equaliser?Gomes?saw someone mention it was Holgate,whatever, what a mess,we really have a terrible habit of shooting ourselves in the foot.

But if we get beat against Leeds or even draw the knives will be out. Make no mistake about that.

That's what the last 6 years of toppling managers has turned us into.

I fear that the frenzy to get Benitez out is a genie that wont go back in the bottle.

I'm not messing when I say that Lampard is a game away from the start of a revolt here.

Fair comment. This team looks absolutely shell shocked. The merest setback and they fall to pieces. Not a good trait in a relegation battle

The biggest thing he will have learnt tonight is we have a raft of players that cant play 2 games in 3 days.
Mina , Coleman , Gomes , Allan & Townsend just cant do it.
Each are very good as we saw on saturday , add to that Keane & Holgate who where adequate at the weekend are capable of calamitous games like tonight.
He will have learned he has to rotate this squad if the injuries dont keep pilling up.

It's not even a stretch to say the knives will be out for Lampard if we lose against Leeds.

This club is not designed to weather a relegation season as were in the 90s. The money and expectations has made us flabby for that fight.

The fans just want another roll of the managerial dice....then another....then another...then another....

We have lost all touch with reality...and we are prime candidates for the drop.

I tell you this with little exaggeration: woe betide us if we dont beat Leeds. This club will go into meltdown.
 
Obviously cannot be too harsh since he just got here but we need a backup plan if Gray goes down. We absolutely fell apart once he and Mina left the field.

We looked fine prior which gives me the hope that we can at least run 3 backs at full strength.

When did we ever sack a manager 10 days. Come on

Every single manager who we sacked deserved it to.

And for the record, I hope Lampard is here for the next decade
