Can of course see the improvement - Newcastle was appalling but 2 out of 3 good performances is instantly a much improved ratio. The issue for me is, is this a new manager bounce or something more permanent? Way too early to answer that but it's nice for once to have some degree of optimism.
We are still smack bang in the middle of a relegation scrap so one step at a time. If and when we're safe from that, then we can start thinking about longer-term ambitions. Performances like Saturday now need to be the norm and I've no doubt that's what he will be emphasising all week.

I thought the substitutions last Saturday were interesting.
Dele was obvious but bringing on Rondon and El Ghazi did show that although both players were brought in by the previous manager FL , in my opinion, wanted to show he is firmly in charge and all players will get their chance.
I did not expect to see Rondon get on the pitch but I certainly thought it was clever management.

Newcastle wasn’t great, but after a Shaky start.
We were in control imo, Until they scored. Ok we weren’t carving out loads of chances, but they were basically playing long balls to the front players, obviously loosing Mina and gray was massive.
Then the usually failings of this group reared it’s head , collapsed under pressure, Saturday will be interesting, because we will be under pressure in that game for spells.
