Weird seeing us lumping it after being so good on the deck vs Leeds...really poor today.

Branthwaite can play a high line? That’s our biggest issue. With a slow midfield, we need a high line and squeeze the space in midfield to win the ball back. Allan and vdb is slow. If the gap between them and the back 4 is constantly wide, we will get expose no matter how much we press.

I'll excuse Lampard this loss as he doesn't have Mina, Doucoure and DCL all able to play at the same time so what else can we expect.

The away games are going to have to be treated completely differently than the home ones. We have players who will give up or lose the head at the slightest bit of adversity. He is going to have to make tough decisions on players who let him down.

This squad of players are hard to get behind. How can players put in performances like last week then put in that sort of effort. How can a player come on at half time and put in a totally unprofessional effort like Gomes did? There is no excuse for such a big drop in performance in 7 days. Until we can get back to back wins, we are not getting out of this and it's hard to see an away win coming from these players.

So what you are saying is, in this current window, Lampard didn't spend any money?

Because what alli may be potentially costing at some point that may or may not happen in the future, is not what lampard spent this window.

VDB is a loan, so even if we bought him in the future, that doesn't count as buying him in this window. And we didn't spent 40m as you suggest to loan him.
