When he arrived, there was a fear in the fan base that we would go down. We’d just won 1 game in 14. How was he wrong to say that? Just go back on the forum to after that Villa game.

There is some parts were i feel he's laying a safety net to protect himself with certain things he says, but no matter what there ARE 3 worse squads of players in this league and we should not have been expecting to go down, he's lost 3 out of 4 league games now, and I just hope he can get a grip of these dossers and learn a valuable lesson from todays drubbing

I think he knows Goodison is the key. He all but admits it.

I just did. I took it as him saying people thought relegation was possible. No one could possibly say it was certain in January to be fair.

We were in a relegation fight and we still are. We have a 1 point advantage and anything could happen
