I actually think Ancelotti could get through to this lot and inspired calmness. Frank has them fired up at times, but they don't look to be able to use it in a controlled way.

There is very little chance of that. If your manager makes your most spineless player the captain for the day for some bizarre reason then there is no chance he will make a decision like you mentioned.
