I'll always give a manager time but how does he make a complete coward of a footballer the captain. Fully deserved the consequences of that today.

The fact we can’t draw the odd game is a big problem. We’re obviously not going to win many games because we’re a very poor team with very poor players, but we absolutely must stop losing every week. We need to be able to add the odd scrappy point to our tally every now and again to keep us just about ticking over.

Just havent got those players who can dig in and grind out a clean sheet. Of the list of 100 things i dont like about these players thats up there as one of the most annoying.

Why is Lampard continuing with the same players that have let us down time and time again and expecting different results? We always hear of how well X, Y & Z are doing in training from the academy, so why aren’t we seeing them? More players with the spirit of Gordon is exactly what we need during the run in we have.

The spirit of Gordon? We are doomed! He is a mummy boy like the mummy boy we had last season. He is the St Maximin of the poor man. St Maximin at least has power and speed. Gordon is only good in throwing himself on the ball. Both are a one man show and both will never play for a really good club!

Any new manager is a risk but Everton fans have been moaning about the players for years and somehow this is Frank's fault after 2 months? Obviously he hasn't done as well everyone hoped but a bit of balance seems to be missing from some people. Or are they wishing we had appointed the obvious alternative choice......oh hang on.

It must really be hitting home now. From the outside you might think work to be done there. But once inside and he now see's what we've been seeing for so long he must be closing his front door when home thinking wtf have i done. This job is a full on clear out case. From defenders who cant defend to midfielders who dont have an ounce of guile to a centre forward who is more interested in not breaking a fingernail.

It is Lampard's choice to play a high line and ask Keane to play it out from the back though. The likes of Calvert-Lewin and Richarlison thrive on running in to space. Iwobi, Gordon and especially Gray are ideally suited to counter attacking teams at pace. Instead of that. Lampard insists on a slow, laboured build up that allows the opposition an age to get organised.

The job Tuchel has done since coming in shows just how badly Lampard was underperforming there. The transfer embargo served him well as it gave him an excuse. Both the much-criticised Sarri and Tuchel have done miles better.

Tuchel won the champions league so has a free pass. But he’s not doing great this year with an extra 140 mil in Lukaku and Saul.

Sarri won a trophy, but he also had Hazard. And spent 110mil. Frank lost hazard and brought in 100mil in the transfer market, lose a world class player and a 210 mil swing in transfers. Still got top 4 and a cup final

What else could he say? It was true. And against worse teams than a very good West Ham team we'd have got a point away there.

These players of ours are poor overall. The question is whether we can limp over the line with them.

I have nothing invested in Lampard, btw. If I thought these players would respond better to another manager I'd sack him tonight. But these players are by and large putting it in apart form the odd waster like Calvert-Lewin.

Just leave him to plot a way out of this....if he can. It was always going to be a battle to get safe. Changing manager again now would seal our fate.

It was a step in the right direction. How big a step I don't know... but it was a step.

But overall our mistakes cost us today, and that's down to the players.
