How people are blaming Lampard is beyond belief, have you not been following the club the last 6 years.

Will we ever learn.
Forget the last 6 years, he is now the manager, and still cannot decide on his best team, despite 10 games and multiple training sessions.
When we need a solid base and need to grind out results.
He is still choosing the same crap players, and still playing the same systems each week.

So what would you do then lad, sack him and get some other idiot in?

That’s what we have done time and time again and look at the mess we are in. Get real.

Two bits in bold are symbiotic.

Think it needs to be rephrased to 'least bad team'.

Hard to pick a decent 11 out of this crap. At least Keane is out now. Hopefully his last game

People still seriously blaming the manager? Not particularly pro nor anti Lampard but c'mon ...
1 down and needing a goal today.
He has been singing the praises of Dobbin all week.
But guess what, he replaces a forward with a midfield player.
And yet people still dont want to question the manager

Things are hard enough with these bunch of sh1thouses, but injuries, suspensions and dodgy var calls are making the situation bloody hard for him.
Where we are now is a result of the board and poor recruitment.
Whatever happens at the end of the season, I’d like him to be given the opportunity to try and rebuild us.

I'm in this side of the argument, right now.

Completely agree but I just can’t buy all the ‘we should have got Allardyce’ shouts after the fact. This place would have melted down had we brought him in again.

Moshiri is on record saying he didn’t hire Moyes because the fans didn’t want him, same seems to have happened with Pereira. Despite the lessons learned from Martinez and Silva we still seemed to believe that a ‘progressive’ coach could have these players playing football.

That illusion died for me under Ancelotti. There was one of the best managers in the history of the game and the players were struggling to pass the ball at times, now at they’re capable of front foot football.

I hope we have enough to stay up because I think Lampard can work through this and get in players who play the way he wants to and it works out in the long run. These players aren’t the ones to do it though not by a long shot. They’re tactically and technically inept

If it was 'till the end of the season' fans would have had a moan but swallowed it given we were only going in one direction when Benitez left.

My worry with Allardyce would have been that he took West Brom down without a fight last season and he bought his way out of trouble in January at Palace and Sunderland. The idea he's some survival genius that guarantees survival is nonsense. May as well have got Pulis in than Allardyce. Also Watford are currently further from safety now than when Hodgson took over, another supposed safe pair of hands to get a team out of trouble.

The majority of the fans base wouid have turned on Sam. And we’d be as good as down before the first game, he also wouldn’t have cared one jot. And the abuse he got last time off the fans. Would still be fresh in his mind.

Allardyce would have probably finished the job Benitez started and relegated us out of spite for the stick he got here last time and then walked away with his millions. Having already been relegated last season what's another relegation?
